Sept 4th 2012 Capt Jacks Major Alister C. McGregor Memorial Fund Trip

Capt Jack donated a guided trip to raise money for the The Major Alister C. McGregor Memorial Fund. An organization that raises money to grant scholarships to the children of police officers killed the line of duty. The trip was taken on board member Andy Berg's 22ft center console with Capt Jack on-board to provide the action. The crew wanted to do some offshore fishing. With nasty winds out of the east it made for a bumpy ride and some challenging conditions. We focused our efforts on the mudhole and by the end of the day everyone caught fish including School bluefin and little tunny. Before heading in we were treated to a show by some social porpoises and then circled a few times by a large hammerhead shark who was only window shopping. An enjoyable day on the water with great people for a noble cause!
