June 28th 2013

Thats a Wrap for the May/June inshore Bass Attack Bring on July

June 27th 2013 Big Moon Big Bass run.

Then June moon produced lots of nice bass this year. After the 48 hour trip with Giant bass we put this trip together a few days later to give some great clients and friends a shot at a 50 plus.

June 25th 2013 4 Charters in a row! Over 30hours on the water!

32 hours strait, 50 miles away, now on the 3rd charter and the action is still rolling! The Chin Brothers on their 3rd ecc charter of the season have absolutely slayed the the fish today! I'm about 10 coffees deep! It's getting reel snotty out here now. Well see hat the rest of the day holds!

June 23rd 2013 June Moon Bass...seriously they were that big!!!

We had serveral fish over 50 and one that eclipsed the rest, definately not a world record but a great fish to have landed none the less. Heres some more angles of the fish with better reference to its size compared to us and other objects like 5 gal buckets ect. They were strait huge! No photo shop dammit!!!! Estimated over 65lbs Bottomed out a 60lb Boga.

June 22nd 2013 Bill Freitag Striped Bass Charter

Had a geat trip with Bill Freitag, Kim Ripoli and a few more Navy Chiefs. A whole boat full of bad ass NCO's what a great day on the water with lots of bent rods. Grabbed some fluke for dinner too.

June 21st 2013 Tia Peckham's First Striper

Its always a pleasure to have the class of a lady on board with us. This fish was Tia's fist striped bass ever. At 32 inches, I'd say she's off to a good start! ;)

She promptly released the fish after snapping a few photos.

June 20th 2013 The Carp Monsta

This is the first species of fish that I have fallen for this hard since I First met Tuna and before that False Albacore. With all of the misunderstanding and Hate surrounding the species it becomes very difficult for anglers to get a clear image of them as the magnificent gamefish they truely are. I would cut a limb off to have the state shut down one of the lame put and take trout lakes and instead manage one as a Carp Sport fishery. These fish provide nonstop action year round and will challange even the best of anglers. This fish today put me through more hell than any striped bass ever has, according to my mentor in the species dave, this fish was not only one of the largest carp landed in RI but one of the largest freshwater fish ever landed in the state. I have a tremendous respect for this fish and can say the only thing that excited me more watching its massive shape appear from the murky water, was the rush I got watching it swim away, after letting it go a few seconds later. There aren't a hell of a lot of them, its definately a finite fishery and until we catch on here in the states like they have in Europe we gotta take good care of them!
